The HP Deskjet 3745 color inkjet printer is inexpensive and ideal for people who do not have large scale printing. It’s compact design and easy to setup quality, makes it a good choice for students and domestic users with limited printing requirements.
The HP Deskjet 3745 printer prints vibrant colors up to 4800 optimized dpi and a laser-quality black text up to 1200 dpi. It has a speed of about 14 pages per minute laser quality black text printing and 10 pages per minutes color printing. Ideal for domestic use photo printing, it creates beautiful 4 x 6 inches to 8.5 x 11 inches photos. The improved and updated HP photo printing software lets you easily edit the photos, enlarge the layouts and reprint the images.
The HP Deskjet 3745 printer has a folding 80 sheet paper tray used for both input and output. The paper simply rolls around through the printer and comes out on top of the input stack, which makes this device compact. This makes HP 3745 Deskjet printer fit in very little space and is ideal for small offices and home. Based on the HP 3500 series it is a light weight device is easy to mobilize and be used with a laptop. It provides five print performance modes and speed setting to match your requirements.
The box contains the HP Deskjet 3745 printer, HP 27 black inkjet print cartridge (10 ml volume), HP 28 tri-color inkjet print cartridge (8 ml), HP Photo Printing Software (Windows only), printer software(Windows and Macintosh) and the user’s guide on CD-ROM, setup poster, Reference Guide, power supply and power cord. Printer cable is not supplied with the box.
The hardware runs smoothly in this device; however the HP 3745 Deskjet is designed for a limited 10000 prints only and after which it starts wearing out and malfunctioning. It is definitely not recommended for heavy duty cycle printing. The ink cartridges are fairly small and last for about 100 to 120 pages only though they cost cheaper too. Printing noise is very low as compared to the other HP Deskjet printers.
